Looking Back at Hungate
From the autumn of 2006 to the end of 2011 a team from York Archaeological Trust investigated the archaeology of the Hungate area of York, as part of the regeneration of an often overlooked corner of the city. Looking Back at Hungate is a new exhibition which uses artefacts found by York Archaeological Trust during the 5-year excavation. Click here to find out more.
The notes below may be useful to teachers planning a visit to the exhibition or in preparation for one of our new linked KS3/4/5 workshops.
